MIDDLE SCHOOL BOOKS

Book reports.  Middle school.  Do these words strike terror in your heart?  Fear not!  We have great books for middle school students (& maybe their parents, too).  Middle School:  The Worst Years of My Life by James Patterson and Chris Tebbetts recounts the story of Rafe Khatchadorian, sixth grader “incarcerated” at Hills Village Middle School.  Meet  the diabolical English teacher called the Dragon Lady and learn about Operation RAFE (Rules Aren’t For Everyone).  The Wednesday Wars by Gary Schmidt is set in 1967 and follows Holling Hoodhood, seventh grader, as he struggles to be on his best behavior for the family business and to survive reading Shakespeare…outside of class.  We have other titles as well.
