Mark your calendars for Dec. 3 when the Parish Book Store will have its Artist Fair, featuring local artisans Constance Fahey and Besty DiJulio. Samples of Fahey’s art are in the Book Store, and we have added DiJulio’s book, The Blooming Platter Cookbook, which she will be signing. The book offers vegan recipes to celebrate the seasons. The 175 recipes span regional American favorites as well as global cuisines. From appetizers such as “Sherried Mushroom Bruschetta” to desserts such as “Apple Brandy Cake with Pecan-Praline Frosting," you will find dishes to delight.
