Dreary days call for fantastic fiction--with hot chocolate and a roaring fire. Our fiction selections are both inspirational and entertaining. Check out Caleb’s Crossing by Geraldine Brooks, the February Women’s Book Club selection, that tells the tale of Caleb who through the encouragement of Bethia, a Calvinist minister’s daughter, becomes the first Native American graduate of Harvard College. Or choose Philip Gulley’s series about the small town of Harmony and the pastor of a small church. Or read Francine Rivers’ The Last Sin Eater, set in the 1850s in the Appalachians. We also have the Julia Spencer-Fleming series, as well as Dennis Maynard’s series, both of which feature Episcopal clergy as the very human protagonists. And remember, if you don’t find what you want, we can order for you.
