GET FIT FOR LENT


Meet the 40-day challenge of Lent using Christ Walk:  A 40-Day Spiritual Fitness Program by Anna Fitch Courie.  With Bible verses and reflection for each day, the author provides “journeys” aimed at physical and spiritual fitness.  Choose the “Nazareth Challenge,” walking the distance between Nazareth and Jerusalem, 65 miles, or 1.6 miles each of the 40 days, or the “Exodus Challenge,” not for the faint of heart, walking the 375 miles the Jews walked to the Promised Land, or 9.4 miles (18,750 steps) each day.  There are journeys to fit every level of physical fitness, and the journeys can be done as a group, pooling their miles, or individually.  We have other Lenten resources as well, so come find what you need to keep a holy Lent.
