PRAYING WITH PRAYER BEADS

Did you know that the Anglican Rosary was created in the 1980s by an Episcopal priest, Fr. Lynn Bauman?  Prayer beads or rosaries, found in every major religion, have been traced as far back as the 8^th century BCE.  What better way to start your Lenten discipline than with prayer beads to aid you in your contemplative prayer?  The Parish Book Store has not only prayer beads, but also booklets to guide your use.  We will be closed Feb. 4-6, but you can visit us at Diocesan Council.
